Stephanie Richardson
Stephanie Richardson was appointed N.A.A.W.S. communications director in 2021 to lead communications strategies such as community outreach, social media management, brand voicing, and public relations. Stephanie also specializes in digital media and converting it into business strategies that increase organization functionality and efficiency. Mrs. Richardson is a self-taught graphic design artist who learned basic Photoshop skills in high school. In 2004, she attended Tennessee State University and continued to strengthen her design skills as she earned a Bachelor of Science in Art. During this time she participated in the world-famous TSU Aristocrat of Bands and reached the leadership level of clarinet section leader. As a United States Air Force veteran, for six years, Mrs. Richardson has earned experience with vital communications such as emergency aircraft communications as well as organizational communications in airfield management and logistics.
With a vested interest in music, Stephanie has been a musician for over 11 years as a clarinet player and plays in the wind symphony. She is also is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women. Mrs. Richardson earned a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2020.
